At Bloc Hotels, it is our absolute priority to ensure the safety of our guests and staff during this time. We are actively working with Public Health England and Gatwick Airport to seek regular advice so we can prepare for any outcome as the situation evolves.
Hygiene at our hotels is always of the utmost priority, our teams work tirelessly to ensure this at all times. This includes sanitising all areas, disinfecting room keys after each use, and replenishing magazines frequently. Our Smart Room Control allows for reduced contact between guests and staff and surfaces in the hotel, we recommend you use your own device where possible.
Our reception staff are instructed to keep their area clean, drink water and wash their hands regularly. Anti-bacterial gel is available to use at our reception desks.
We know that people’s day-to-day lives are disrupted right now and we’re working hard to ensure we continue to provide the best service during this time. Our staff will continue to work in our hotels and are being regularly briefed and updated on prevention steps and procedures. Should this change, we will ensure you are informed.
Refunds and cancellations.

If you have booked direct with Bloc on our non-flexible Advance Purchase rate (for stays until 30th April 2020), we are now able to offer you a voucher for the original amount spent with us. This will allow you to re-book with us any time before 31st December 2020. Please note, any difference in rate will be payable.
If you booked our Advance Purchase rate through a Third Party (such as booking.com, Expedia or Hotels.com) we are not able to offer a date change and your booking will remain non-refundable. Please contact our reservations team on Live Chat or by email [email protected] for advice.
If you have booked a Fully Flexible rate, our procedure is as standard and you can cancel or amend your booking up to 4.00 pm the day before your intended arrival. Any late cancellations or no shows will be charged.

Please note, during this time we are experiencing a number of disruptions particularly at Gatwick Airport. These include the closure of Joe's, Giraffe and The Beehive Weatherspoons, and changes to the parking services provided. If you become sick.
If you are tested positive for COVID-19, or are displaying symptoms, and have stayed with us in the last 7 days, we would ask you to contact us immediately either by telephone +44 (0)203 051 0101 or emailing [email protected]
If a member of staff becomes sick.
Should a member of our team test positive for COVID-19 or exhibit symptoms, and you have come into contact with that individual, then we will inform you of this. Processes in place will mean that the individual and others affected will go into self-isolation.
