When I booked my stay, the site I booked through advised me “you will be charged a prepayment of the total price at any time’ what does this mean?


This means that you will be charged the full price of the booking, either by BLOC or a third party, at the time of booking.

Is there any difference/advantage between booking online or by phone?


Rooms booked online take advantage of being able to choose Advance Purchase rates generally saving between £5-£10 per room, also Best Available/Flexible Rates which give you the flexibility of amending (+ any rate difference) and free cancellation up until 1400 on the day of arrival.

Do you offer a loyalty scheme?


Yes, if you are booking directly with BLOC you can sign up to become a member of our VIP list. This entitles you to free Premium Security passes for up to 4 guests and free tea or coffee vouchers. Where there is room availability, VIP list members will be the first to be upgraded.

I won’t be arriving until late evening/very early morning, will Reception be open?


Absolutely, Reception is open 24/7, 365 days a year.

Do you offer any corporate discount/agreement?


Need to make corporate bookings for more than 50 rooms per year? Please contact [email protected]  and we will be more than happy to provide further information.

What’s a group booking? How do I request a quotation for a group booking?


If you are looking to accommodate a group and require eight, or more rooms please contact [email protected]. Include the following information: dates, total number of guests, total number of rooms required, room type you prefer and any other information you think would be useful and a specialist will be back in touch with a quote.

Can I reserve a room and pay on arrival?


As we are a pre-pay hotel, we take payment at the time of booking to guarantee your room.

Unfortunately, we are unable to reserve a room to be paid on arrival.

However, you may still turn up and book with cash or credit/debit card subject to availability.

Do you have a Pricelist/Tariff for your room rates?


Our prices are not fixed and they may vary depending on the availability and how far in advance you book. Please check our website for our best availability and prices.

How secure will I be within your hotel?


Guest safety is paramount to us. CCTV is in operation throughout the hotel. Only checked-in guests are able to gain access to the hotel room corridors using their lift key card.

What room types do you have available?


We have windowless Sleep rooms, Vista rooms with a window, Vista Plus rooms (more spacious at 12 square meters with tea and coffee making facilities), Apartment rooms (spacious and luxuriously furnished with kitchenette, seating area and eating area). In addition, we have an Accessible Sleep room which is fully DDA compliant. All rooms have complimentary bottled water and toiletries.
