After a £500,000 refurbishment and meticulous renovations, the newly reopened Lasan restaurant in the Jewellery Quarter (winner of "Best local restaurant" on Gordon Ramsay's 'The F Word' and winner of BBC's 'The Great British Menu') is now a rather more decadent affair.

Offering an exquisite Indian cuisine that teases the senses; the atmosphere pulsates with laughter and fun, complemented by hot samosas and cold beer.

But don't think this is just another Indian street food joint - Lasan is bringing something unashamedly classier to the city and a taste of "Indian High Society". Drawing inspiration from the grand bars and restaurants in Delhi, Jaipur and Mumbai, frequented by India's upper classes.

New mouthwatering dishes include Guinea Fowl Korma, Punjabi Makhan Chicken and Salli Keema, minced lamb with cooked fresh green chill, finished with yogurt and topped with a duck egg.
