The Nutcracker
Birmingham Royal Ballet’s evergreen production of The Nutcracker has been part of the City’s Christmas tradition for over 26 years and returns to Birmingham Hippodrome this November.
Join young Clara as she is swept away into an enchanting winter wonderland of dancing snowflakes and a Sugar Plum Fairy. Her magical Christmas tree and her handsome prince with his army of toy soldiers are an unforgettable delight. In this most festive ballet, gigantic sets, lavish costumes, 60 dancers and a full orchestra combine to make the perfect Christmas treat for the entire family.
This world-famous production by Sir Peter Wright, with exquisite designs by John Macfarlane, is acclaimed as one of the best.

Cinderella
Birmingham audiences shall go to the ball in the most magical pantomime of them all, Cinderella.
Soul-diva Beverley Knight will make her pantomime debut in this year’s Hippodrome spectacular, alongside Strictly Come Dancing finalist Danny Mac, Birmingham panto-favourite Matt Slack, pop and television star Suzanne Shaw, comedy duo The Grumbleweeds, and the most faaaaabulous Ugly Sisters in show business, Ceri Dupree and Phil Randall.
Cinderella, produced by Olivier-nominated pantomime producer Qdos Entertainment, will feature all of the ingredients of the perfect Hippodrome pantomime: a fabulous cast and orchestra, laugh-out-loud comedy, stunning scenery and special effects, beautiful costumes and plenty of boos and hisses for all the family to enjoy.

Peter Pan - The World's Biggest Panto

Starring Bradley Walsh (The Chase) as Mr Smee, Martin Kemp (Spandau Ballet, EastEnders) as Captain Hook, and Matt Knight (Let it Shine) as Peter Pan, J.M Barrie’s original story and characters are brought to life by a cast of over 100 performers, including a thrilling team of BMX riders, stuntmen, trapeze artists and even a 7m-long animatronic crocodile!
Performed across three stages, you’ll never be far from the action with a giant 60-foot-wide LED screen, computer graphic imagery and even a life-size Jolly Roger sailing through the Arena in front of a 10,000-gallon water wall.

Internationally acclaimed performers Blue Man Group have announced their first UK shows since 2009 as part of a new world tour, with Birmingham being chosen as the host city.
The award-winning production, best known for its blue and bald performers, has been brought to the city by Town Hall and Symphony Hall, Birmingham.
