The website I booked through advised me “you will be charged a prepayment of the total price at any time"?

This means that you will be charged the full price of the booking, either by Bloc or a third party, at the time of booking.

Is there any difference/advantage between booking online or by phone?

Rooms booked online take advantage of being able to choose 'Non-Flexible' rates (generally saving between £5-£10 per room) or our 'Book Now, Pay Later' Rates which give you the flexibility of not paying for your stay at the time of booking, amending (+ any rate difference) and free cancellation up until 16:00 on the day before arrival.

Also, if you are booking directly through our website you can choose our exclusive members-only VIP+ rates. You'll unlock instant savings, plus you'll also enjoy free upgrades (where available) and free tea or coffee. For Gatwick stays, you will also receive Premium Security passes for each adult staying.

I won’t be arriving until late evening/very early morning, will Reception be open?

Absolutely! Our receptions are open 24/7, 365 days a year. No need to call ahead as your room will be ready and waiting for you when you arrive.

Do you offer any corporate discount/agreement?

What is a group booking? How do I request a quotation for a group booking?

If you are looking to accommodate a group and require 8 or more rooms, please contact [email protected].

Include the following information: dates, the total number of guests, the total number of rooms required, room type you prefer and any other information you think would be useful when drafting your bespoke quote. Payment for group bookings must also be done by bank transfer. 

Can I reserve a room and pay on arrival?

Yes. We offer a 'Book Now, Pay Later' option when booking directly on our website. 

Your card won't be charged, we only need your card details to guarantee your booking. When you stay, you'll pay. Free cancellation until 4 pm the day before arrival. Your card will be held on account and pre-authorised for the cost of your stay after the free cancellation period ends.

We also accept walk-in which can be paid for with cash or credit/debit card.

Do you have a Pricelist/Tariff for your room rates?

Our prices are not fixed and they may vary depending on the availability and how far in advance you book. Please check our website for our best availability and prices.

How secure will I be within your hotel?

At Bloc Hotels, guest safety is paramount. Only checked-in guests are able to gain access to the hotel corridors using their key card and high-definition CCTV is in operation throughout.
